An amazing honeymoon

Stay: July 25-28 2009. As I had booked the Pool Villa, I was wondering what the difference was with the Grand Pool Villa, and had thought to upgrade if we liked it. So we requested to be brought to a Grand Pool Villa for a look-see. The hotel staff were kind enough to oblige.
I personally didn't find there was too much difference between the two, so I decided to stick to the Pool Villa. It was the right choice and I'm glad we didn't fork out the extra $$ for a little extra space. The Pool Villa is already at a comfortable size.
Booked the package with daily breakfast (which we had in-villa daily except for the last day) and complimentary mini-bar, which was stocked with couple cans of beer, soft drinks and Evian bottled water.
Location was great too as it was less than 10minutes leisure walk to the nice Kata Beach. There are several pubs and restaurants right at the hotel's doorstep and a few more paces away lie some money changers, pharmacy and even a 7-11.
Overall - we found the stay at the hotel fantastic, comfortable, clean and staff very friendly, which was a part of what made our trip to Phuket a great one. Definitely recommend it to honeymooners or couples looking for a private and intimate experience while having the all the amenities and conveniences that any traveler would require. |
